John Schuler

John Patrick Schuler, 50, of Washington Township, Warren County, NJ, died May 26, 2019 in Phillipsburg, NJ. Born January 16, 1969 in Summit, NJ, he was the son of John E. Schuler (Gail) of Far Hills, NJ and Sharon (Bloodgood) Bott (Chuck) of Hillsborough, NJ. John was a self-employed contractor, owning and operating Schuler Construction in Washington. John enjoyed snow and skate boarding, Lacrosse, rock climbing and building things. John and his wife, the former Linda LaMarca observed their 14th wedding anniversary last October, 2018. In addition to his wife and parents, John is survived by a son John B. Schuler at home; a step-son, Michael Barone of Ringoes, NJ; a step-daughter, Kimberly Barone of New Brunswick, NJ and a sister Kristine L. Schuler of Bedminster, NJ. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Maguire-Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ. Services will begin at 7:30 p.m. (Overflow parking will be available in the municipal parking lot off of Sharp Street). Private cremation will follow the services.
