John Grimes

John "Jack" Grimes III 53, contractor, veteran MOUNT OLIVE - John "Jack" Grimes III of Budd Lake died Friday, Dec. 30, 2005, at Hackettstown Hospital. He was 53. Born in Jersey City on Feb. 22, 1952, he was the son of the late John and Doris Sheedy Grimes. He was a lifelong resident of the Budd Lake section of Mount Olive Township. He was a general contractor. Jack served with the Army National Guard from 1972-1975. Jack was of the Catholic faith. He is survived by a daughter, Kelli Grimes of Boston; his com-panion, Doreen Carrell; three sisters, Karen Sullivan of Bernardsville, and Nancy Thompson and Denise Monahan, both of Washington; and a brother, Kenneth of Budd Lake.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2006 at 1 p.m. at Budd Lake Union Chapel, 54 Shore Road, Budd Lake. Cremation at H.G. Smith, Stroudsburg, Pa. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jack's memory to Budd Lake Union Chapel, 54 Shore Road, Budd Lake, N.J. 07828. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Warren Hills / Ford Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington.
