Jody Anne Welch

Jody Anne Welch, of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2026, at the Monroe County Hospice House, with her loving family by her side. She was 60 years old.

Jody was born on June 26, 1965, in Denville, New Jersey, to the late Scott Welch and Henrietta Welch (née Biamonte).

Her professional life was a testament to her caring nature and versatility. Jody held a degree in Early Childhood Education, a field that allowed her nurturing spirit to shine. She was the proud owner of The Learning Tree daycare and served as the Principal of Lehigh Valley Lutheran School. A woman of diverse talents, she also worked with her family at Bowers, Schumann, and Welch Insurance and later practiced as a Licensed Massage Therapist.

Above all else, Jody was a dedicated mother. She loved her three sons with a boundless, unconditional love, always prioritizing their needs above her own. That love extended to her beloved grandchildren, who brought her immense happiness. Jody possessed a creative spirit, finding joy in art and photography, and she loved to laugh and enjoy the small moments in life, even during challenging times.

Her strength was most evident in her courageous battle with breast cancer. Diagnosed in 2009, she faced the disease with incredible optimism and determination. Assisted by her brother, Todd, she took a self-directed path to treatment, blending leading oncology with holistic approaches. She defied the odds for years, fighting tirelessly to remain with the family she loved so dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Glen Welch.

She is survived by her loving children: her son Ryan Welch and his wife Kaitlyn, and their son Miles; her son Huntington Keim and his wife Hannah, and their daughter Charlotte; and her son Zachary Keim and his wife Adriana, and children Maria Jose and Maria Angel. Jody also leaves behind her brother, Todd.
