Joan E. (Orrok) Tripp, 76 of Washington Township passed away peacefully on June 10, 2020 at Lopatcong Care Center with her family by her side. Joan was born on November 8, 1943 in Elizabeth, NJ to the late David and Ethel Orrok. Joan graduated from Madison High School class of 1961. She and her husband Robert were married on June 8, 1963. She was employed as an Administrative Assistant for Foster Wheeler in Clinton, NJ until her retirement in 2000, and she loved her monthly lunch dates with the Foster Wheeler Lunch Ladies. Joan was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Washington and enjoyed working in her flower garden. She was all about family and cherished time spent with them. Joan would like to personally thank everyone who assisted in her care during her illness. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Joan is survived by her loving husband of 57 years Robert William Tripp; Daughters, Noreen McNamara and her husband Paul, Debra Tripp, Roberta Falvey and her husband Robert; Sisters, Carol Wright and Arlene Orrok; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Joan was preceded in death by a daughter Sandra Jean Tripp in 1982. Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday June 15 from 5-7 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. Social distancing guidelines apply. Everyone in attendance MUST wear a face covering and maintain a 6' spacing. Funeral services and burial at Pequest Cemetery will be held privately by the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Joan's name to the First Presbyterian Church of Washington, 40 East Church St, Washington, NJ 07882.
