Jane Adams

Jane Adams, age 93, formerly of Plainfield NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at McAuley Hall Health Care Center in Watchung, NJ. Jane was born in Plainfield on April 25, 1922. She was a daughter of Max and Stella (Butler) Moraller. Jane graduated from Plainfield High School in 1939 and from Glassboro State Teachers’ College in 1943 earning a Bachelor of Science in Kindergarten/Primary Education. She taught first and second grades in public schools in Somerville and in Plainfield. Jane was the wife of Merritt C. Adams who died in 1993. They were married for 46 years. She is also pre-deceased by her sister, Catherine Liske, who died in 1957. She is survived by her daughter, Christine and son-in-law Roger Bulava and her two grandsons John Bulava and his wife Elisa, and Adam Bulava and his wife Jinna. She is also survived by her great-grandson Noah Bulava. A private Funeral Mass will be said at the Chapel at McAuley Hall and burial will be with her husband at the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ. A service celebrating her life will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jane’s name to McAuley Hall Health Care Center at 1633 Route 22 West in Watchung, NJ 07069.
