Howard Deemer

Howard Deemer (61) of Hampton died October 27, peacefully in his sleep.

He was a proud father of 6 children and pop-pop of 8 grandchildren. He touched every person he met and made everyone laugh.

Howard worked for the Town of Clinton DPW for 31 years before retiring.

He was an avid golfer and bowler and once bowled a 300. He played and coached baseball, and loved watching his children play. He was always helping his children with home improvements. On Sundays he could be found napping in front of the NASCAR race, usually with a grandchild on his lap. He loved to shop, travel, play his guitar, and play cards.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa of 26 years, his sons Howie Jr. (Lynette), Storm (Toni), and daughters Erin (Ray), Katie (Bobby), Allison, and Sarah (Anthony); his 8 Grandchildren Madison, Ryan, Conor, Reagan, Willow, Anthony, and Hannah; his siblings Judy, Bill (Diane), Debbie, Lanell, and many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his mother Shirley, father William, stepfather Leonard Black, and sister Cherrie.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, November 1 from 5pm- 8pm at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 8:00 pm in the funeral home.
