Henry "Hank" Pfister, 60, of Washington Township, NJ passed away peacefully and courageously on October 18, 2015 at home with his loving family by his side. Hank was born on February 9, 1955 in Middlesex, NJ to the late Henry J. and Theresa Pfister. Hank lived in Washington for the past 27 years but was raised in Middlesex. Hank graduated from Middlesex High School class of 1973 and earned his Bachelor's degree from Montclair State University. He was employed as an electrician with IBEW Local #102 (formerly Local #262) for 34 years until his retirement in January of this year. He married his soul mate, Mary "Mahoney" Pfister, in 1990. Hank had a keen sense of humor. He was an avid gardener. He enjoyed fishing, sports cars, cooking and eating fine cuisine. Hank was a true athlete, gentlemen and a fierce competitor. He loved coaching soccer, basketball and baseball with the Washington Township Youth Association. While he had many achievements, his greatest pride was for his sons. Hank's love for his family and friends was immeasurable and he cherished time spent with them. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Mary "Mahoney" Pfister. Sons Devin T. Pfister of Bedminster, NJ and Brendan M. Pfister of Washington, NJ. Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday, October 23, 2015 from 3-8 PM and again on Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 8:30-9:15AM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 6 Church St., Hampton, NJ 08827. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be to the Pfister family to select a charity of their choice.
