Gloria G. Skoog

Gloria G. Skoog - 85 of Bangor, PA, formerly of Washington, NJ passed away on March 13, 2020 at St. Lukes Hospital. Born on December 30, 1934 in Roxburg, NJ she was the daughter of the late Donald and Grace Lommason. Gloria graduated from the Washington High School class of 1952. Gloria married the love of her life Elbert J. Skoog in 1953 who passed away on September 12, 2017. Gloria last worked for Dr. Nicholas Kavcsak in Belvidere, NJ. She also worked many years as a real estate agent for Century 21. She was a member of the Washington Chapter #136 Order of the Eastern Star, Washington Borough Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary & First Presbyterian Church of Washington, New Jersey. Gloria loved her animals (especially Buddy who greeted her every morning) also quilting, trips to the casino & antiquing. She is survived by her daughter Nancy Skoog, Sons Roger Skoog and his wife Victoria, Larry Skoog and his wife Anne. Her four grandchildren, Dr. Victoria Marie Skoog, Dr. David Skoog and his wife Erin, Steven Skoog and Kyle Skoog. Her first great-grandchild, Loretta Skoog. Her family was the joy of her life. Gloria was preceded in death by her sister Doris Hoffman. Graveside services will be held at Belvidere Cemetery and will be private and at convenience of the family In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gloria's name to any animal rescue organization of your choice.
