Gloria O'Hara

Gloria A. O'Hara, 82 of Glen Gardner, NJ passed away peacefully Friday July 18, 2025 at Thomas Jefferson Medical Center Philadelphia, PA following a long illness.

Born in Newark, NJ, Gloria grew up and had lived many years in Bloomfield and Bellville, NJ. She moved to Washington, NJ and has resided in Glen Gardner, NJ since 1999.

Daughter of the Late Louis and Mary (nee Leto) Ruggiero, Gloria had a long career in Banking, retiring from Summit Federal savings as a Compliance Officer. Later in life she began working as a Bookkeeper with the Clinton Shop Rite where she worked up until most recently.

A Parishioner of the Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church Washinton, NJ, Gloria was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She enjoyed her many road trips with her family especially to Florida and the New Jersey Shore. An avid reader and crime drama enthusiast,

Gloria also enjoyed gardening, Lach Hook projects and cooking for her family.

Predeceased be her beloved husband James O'Hara Jr. in 1995, her sister Stella Cicci in 2003, her brother Domenick A. Ruggiero in 2016, her brother-in-law Vito Cicci in 2020 as well as her sister-in-law Judith A. Ruggiero in 2021. Survivors include her loving daughter Maureen Monteleone, her cherished granddaughters Hailey and Madisen Monteleone all of Glen Gardner, NJ, alongside several nieces and nephews and many friends who will continue to celebrate her life and carry her memory in their hearts.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening July 24, 2025 from 6-9 PM in the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave. Washington, NJ. 07882. The Funeral Mass and burial are all private at the request of the family.
