Glenn Conrad Parks, 68, passed away on October 31, 2026, at St. Luke’s Bethlehem in Fountain Hill, PA.
Born on October 19, 1958, in Hackensack, NJ, Glenn was the son of the late Devra Schneider Parks and John W. Glenn Parks. He was a 1976 graduate of Warren Hills High School and was employed in assembly work at Abilities of Northwest Jersey, where he was part of the local community. He was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Washington.
Glenn enjoyed science fiction movies, classic television shows, cartoons and police dramas. He had a diverse taste in music and enjoyed reading children’s books. He even wrote a book, the Journey of Starship “the Grand Rascal”, about a boy traveling to Alpha Centauri.
Glenn was highly knowledgeable of academic areas like law and parliamentary procedure and loved his Commodore 64.…an enormous breadth of interests.
Glenn was an extremely kind person and everybody who met him liked him instantly and family was very important to him. Glenn leaves behind his loving sister, Shawna Parks Glover; his brothers, John Parks and his partner, Han-Fei Lin, and Warren Parks and his wife, Kristin; and his nephew, Jeremiah Glover. He also leaves behind his beloved cat Snuggles, a special companion in his life.
We all enjoyed his bizarre endearing phrases, which we ended up imitating far too often. Glenn will be remembered by those who knew and loved him for the things that made him uniquely Glenn.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ 07882. Interment will be private.
