Gerald Phillips

Gerald E. Phillips Jr., 88, of New Jersey, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2025, at Hunterdon Medical Center.

Born on November 29, 1936, in Elizabeth, NJ, Gerald was the son of the late Gerald E. and Virginia (Landreth) Phillips Sr. He was raised in Cranford, NJ, where he graduated from Cranford High School in the Class of 1954. He went on to earn a technical degree from Newark NJIT and built a successful career as a project manager in the construction industry.

Gerald had a deep love for the Jersey Shore, where he spent many summers, as well as for camping and model building. A talented artist, he found joy in watercolor painting and other creative pursuits. Above all, he cherished time with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren.

He is survived by his sons, Michael Phillips (Cheryl) and Jeffrey Phillips, as well as his four grandchildren, Michael, Aidan, Robert, and Emily.
