Fred Tishuk

Fred Tishuk Jr. 91, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2014 at the Brakley Park Care Center in NJ. Fred was a past resident of the Brookfield section of White Twp and Pocono, PA. Born: on February 9, 1923 in Kearny, NJ to the late Feodor and Nadezida Tishuk. Personal: Fred graduated from Hackettstown high school class of 1941. Earlier in his life he was a farmer. He retired as a union pipefitter in 1986 after working 44 years with Local 274 pipefitters in Dover, NJ. He was a Mason with the Essex lodge #7 for 57 years. His loving wife Katherine passed away in 2010. Survivors: He is survived by twin step daughters: Kathy Jordan DeFranzo, and Susanne Jordan Baker, nine step grandchildren and 16 step great-grandchildren, two nephew's Gus of Mount Bethel Pa., Paul of Ocean City Md., a niece Carol of Dover NJ. In addition to his wife Katherine, Fred was preceded in death by three brothers Gus, Paul, Mike, a step daughter Barbara Bonvini, and a step son Richard "Rick" Jordan Jr. Services: Visitation will be held on Thursday June 26, 2014 from 10-11 AM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave, Washington, NJ 07882. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Union cemetery in Hackettstown.
