Francis Giaquinto

Frank Giaquinto Jr departed this world after a one year battle with ALS (Lou Gehrigs Disease). Surrounded by his loved ones while listening to some of his favorite songs like Werewolves of London, you could bet he was howling along to the chorus in his head. Born and raised in Rockaway, NJ, Frank was a 1979 Graduate of Morris Hills High School. Frank is survived by his parents Frank Giaquinto Sr. and Beverly Lagonokis, two sisters, Susan Mihok (Robert) and Kathy Cochran (Mark), his four children, Jessica Magyar (Jerry), Frank Giaquinto III (Samantha), Michael Giaquinto (Jessica) and Maria Giaquinto (Denis), two grandchildren JJ and Juliana Magyar, who kept him busy with all their sporting events, his brother-in-law Mike Bodnar (Tracy), the love of his life for 38 years, Lisa Giaquinto, his best friend of 40+ years, Bruce Kemp, and six nieces and nephews. Frank's prized possessions went to his children. Due to the various symptoms of his disease, and new treatment options available, he is taking his medical marijuana card with him to the afterlife in the event it hasn't been legalized there yet. As for the rest of his collection of "cool things", that no one knows what to do with - such as canes that turn into swords or his skull themed jewelry collection, they too will be treasured. Frank was generous to a fault and this expanded far beyond loved ones. Frank was so generous that he put three children through college. Those three children belonged to his Snap On Tools representative. All joking aside, Frank was a loving, generous, and selfless man. He wasn't wealthy but was rich beyond measure buy those who loved him. Employed for nearly 35 years at Romeos Automotive in Denville, he also worked side jobs every night after work and weekends, helping anyone who needed help, for which he would never complain. His work ethic was admired by all who knew him. His hobbies included numerous APA Pool leagues, a pit crew member for Jim Romeo's 44Jr Modified Stock car at Flemington and Bridgeport race tracks, and every sports team his children or grandchildren played for. His laughter and simple view of life will truly be missed by all who knew him. Family and friends pay their respects on Saturday May 12, 2018 from 1-4 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Saturday May 12, 2018 at 4:00 PM.
