Eva Schaare

Eva "Eve" Schaare, 93 a lifelong resident of Washington, NJ passed away peacefully on September 8, 2022 at Country Meadows of Bethlehem.

Eva was born on July 2, 1929 in the family home in Oxford, NJ to the late Andrew and Sophia "Trusch" Hummer. She graduated from Washington High School class of 1946. Eva was a homemaker but earlier in her life she worked for Oxwall Tool and La Boutique Clothing Store in Washington. Eva's loving husband of 60 years Arthur Schaare passed away in 2006. She was a 46 year member of Harker's Hollow Golf Club where she was a 2 time Club Champion and past president of the Ladies League. Eva was a Devout Catholic and parishioner of St. Joseph Church where she served on the Altar Rosary Society. She cherished time spent with family, especially her grandchildren.

Eva is survived by her four daughters, Sharon Moore, April Pagano, Shelly Sbriscia and her husband Butch and Tracey Kappus and her husband Tom; three sons, Art Schaare Jr. and his wife Lori, David Schaare and his wife Donna and Mark Schaare and his wife Donna; a sister, Helen Blake; 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband Arthur, Eva was preceded in death by her 8 other siblings.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday September 13, 2022 from 5-8 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday September 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 200 Carlton Ave. Washington, NJ. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
