Eva Kovaks, 72, of Washington, N.J., died Friday, April 22, 2005, in Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg. Born: May 6, 1932 in Hungary, she was a daughter of the late Sandor and Eva Szegeti. Personal: She lived in Washington for seven years. Prior to that, she lived in Irvington and Orange, N.J. She was a production worker at Drakes Bakery in Wayne, N.J. for 29 years until her retirement in 1994. Her husband, Anthony Damato, died in 1981. Survivors: two daughters, Sylbya Damato, in Minnesota, and Ava Damato, of Washington, N.J., a grandchild, Erin, and a very dear and close friend who was loved as a sister, Gertrude Klein, of Washington, N.J. Services: A memorial service will be held at a later date in the Warren Hills/Ford Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Avenue, Washington, N.J. Calling hours are private.
