Ernest E. Conry Sr.

Ernest Conry Sr., 73, of Washington, NJ, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on May 22, 1953, in Brooklyn, New York, Ernest was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Ethel Conry; his mother, Nancy Purvis; his children, Ernest Conry Jr. and Shontae Conry; his grandchildren, Jan Carrasquillo III, Dontae Gallagher, and Maraya Gallagher; his brother, Mitchell Purvis; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend a wake on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Faith Discovery Church, 33 Brass Castle Road, Washington, NJ. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m., followed by interment at Washington Cemetery.

Ernest will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
