Eleanor H. Chodaczok, 86, of Lebanon Township, NJ, died on Thursday, October 6, 2005 in Little Brook Nursing Home, Lebanon, NJ, where she was the longest resident. Born: On November 16, 1918 in Newark, NJ, she was a daughter of the late William and Mildred Simulov. Personal: Her husband of 52 years, Nicholas, died in 1997. A previous resident of Newark and Mountainside, NJ, Eleanor was a homemaker. Earlier in her life, she worked as a laborer for LaCross Co. in Newark. Eleanor graduated from Central High School, Newark, Class of 1937. She was a wonderful cook who would rival any chef, she specialized in Hungarian and Russian dishes. She also was a talented baker. Eleanor was an avid reader; she enjoyed gardening and Russian dancing. Survivors: She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Fallen and her husband, Craig of Washington, NJ; a sister, Mildred Wlosek of Bricktown, NJ; a sister-in-law, Olga Szelest of Freehold; three grandchildren, Kerry Sancomb and her husband, Larry of Baltimore, Md, Keith Fallen of Los Angeles, Ca, and Kristen Fallen of Kissimmee, Fla.; and a great-granddaughter, Natalie. Services: Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Warren Hills/Ford Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. with calling hours from 9 a.m. until the time of the service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Hollywood Memorial Cemetery, Union, NJ.
