Edith Eastman

Edith Eastman, 88, of Belvidere, NJ passed away peacefully at home on Friday, July 7, 2017 with her family by her side. Edith was born on November 13, 1928 in Kearny, NJ to the late Fred and Ethel Butler and graduated from Kearny High School. She was a dedicated Wife and Mother of three children. She loved doing Bible studies and going to church. Along with her late husband Warren she spent the winters in Florida volunteering at Children's Bible Ministries. She loved to sew and swim. Edith is survived by her loving children: son, Doug Eastman and his wife Paula, daughters, Bonnie Alleger and her husband David and Beth Oyster and her husband Michael. 9 cherished grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Warren Eastman. A graveside service celebrating Edith’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 10:00 A.M in the Union Cemetery, Leigh Street, Clinton, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Edith’s name to the Children’s Bible Mission, 160 Bear Lodge Drive, Townsend, TN 37882 Arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home.
