Earl B. Ruckman, 90, of Washington, NJ passed away peacefully on May 16, 2021 at Paragon Village in Hackettstown, NJ. Earl was born on December 12, 1930 in St. Mary's WV to the late Charles and Susan "Cain" Ruckman. Earl graduated from St. Mary's High School class of 1948. He enlisted in the US Army and served proudly during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Earl retired from the military in 1969 as a Chief Warrant Officer with more than 20 years of service. He was employed as an insurance salesman for Prudential Life Insurance and also as a sales representative for SS White Aerospace in Parsippany until his retirement. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a past member of various church social clubs. He also enjoyed country music and watching sports on TV. Earl's wife of 60 years Mary "Ranelli" Ruckman passed away in 2019. Earl is survived by his loving sons, Mark Ruckman and his spouse John Cinkala, and Stephen Ruckman, and two cherished grandchildren, Isaiah and Miel Ruckman. In addition to his wife Mary, Earl was preceded in death by his daughter Maria Ruckman. Graveside services and full military honors celebrating Earl's life will be held on Friday May 21. 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Earl's name to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 200 Carlton Ave, Washington, NJ 07882.
