Doris Frances "Buchman" Kissell

Doris Frances "Buchman" Kissell, 84, formerly of Broadway, NJ passed away peacefully at Hunterdon Care Center, Flemington NJ, on December 21, 2021. Doris was born on September 4, 1937 in Hazleton, Pennsylvania to the late Martin and Elizabeth Drasher. She was a graduate of Foster Township High School. She was married to Clarence "Chuck" Buchman for 43 years and together raised two children. Doris was employed at IMCO, in Belvidere NJ prior to her retirement in 1994. She and Chuck moved to Frostproof, Florida where they spent many happy years together prior to his passing in 1999. She married her 2nd husband Albert Kissell in 2001 and spent 14 years together. She was an avid sports fan and cheered for the Chicago Cubs. She enjoyed watching the Little League World Series and loved NASCAR. Doris enjoyed many things Disney and took many Disney cruise trips with her family. She loved being involved with the local Keenagers group taking many trips throughout the United States. She also loved the game room and swimming pool at her Camp Inn residence. She was of the Methodist faith and a former member of the Broadway NJ Methodist Church. Above all she loved her family, and she will be greatly missed. Doris is survived by her loving children; daughter, Carol Smith and her husband Rick, son, Keith Buchman and his wife Marguerite. Cherished grandchildren Brian Smith and his wife Faye, Gregory Smith and his wife Macy, Emily Beekman and her husband Jon, Ellen Heller and her husband Layton, great-granddaughter Blake Beekman and great-grandson Casey Beekman. She is also survived by a brother Carl Drasher. She is preceded in death by her 1st husband Chuck Buchman, her 2nd husband Albert Kissell and her sister Arlene Swankowski. Private grave site services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place at Bougainvillea Cemetery in Avon Park, Florida beside her husband Chuck Buchman.
