Donna Cornish

Donna M. Cornish, 52, passed away suddenly at her home on August 24, 2021. Donna was born on June 4, 1969 in Blytheville, AR to the late Donald and Aldona Cornish. Donna graduated from Warren Hills High School with the class of 1988. Donna was employed at Tractor Supply in Washington and the car wash after returning from her years living in Florida where she managed mobile home parks and cooked at local restaurants. Those who knew Donna would describe her as a tomboy at heart, with an even bigger heart and passion for life. She enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, camp fires, fishing and going to the beach with family and friends. She was an amazing cook and you would often find her filling the plates and bellies of her family and friends during the holidays. Donna's love for football was readily apparent as she was rarely seen not sporting her Dallas Cowboys attire! Donna had a love for all animals especially dolphins which were her favorite. Most of all, Donna loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and her furbaby Reign, whom she adored. Donna is survived by her daughters, Saige Witner and Paige Steele; sister Michelle Cornish; brother, Wade Cornish; 3 grandchildren Harper, Lilly and Sora; niece and nephews Ashley O’Rourke, Codey O’Rourke, James Cornish; great nephews who she enjoyed taking camping and fishing Ayden Burham, Anthony Davis; as well as her loving aunts and uncles George Buozis, Judy Buozis, Dana Cusati, and Niola Casati. Donna was predeceased by her loving mother Aldona “Gypsy” Cornish who passed away in 2020. Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday September 25, 2021 from 1-3 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882.
