Donald W. Phillips, 90, passed away peacefully with family by his side on March 12, 2026 in Daytona Beach, Florida. 

Don was born on October 10, 1935 in Phillipsburg NJ to the late Walter and Ada (Smith) Phillips. Don is preceded in death by his brother, Leonard Phillips and sister, Norma Harris. 

Don was a graduate of Washington High School Class of 1954. Don played baseball and football for the Streaks and was chosen co-captain his senior year by his football Streak teammates. 

Following graduation Don married the love of his life Patricia Patrick and they were married 71 years. 60 plus years of their marriage they resided in Oxford NJ before they moved full time to Daytona Beach, FL where they enjoyed all that the warm weather and outside activities had to provide.

Don honorably served his country in the United States Navy and built a long and dedicated career with Coca- Cola Bottling Company. Don was a member of St Rose of Lima Holy Name Society, The Oxford Volunteer Fire Company, The Boy Scouts and served many years on the Oxford Board of Education. 

Don and his wife, Pat owned and operated GEM Beverage.  Don enjoyed family camping vacations and later traveling the country with Pat in their 5th wheel trailer. Don along with Pat danced weekly and rode their Gold Wing Trike with many of their good friends. 

Most of all Don was a family man who loved big. He was so very proud of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He supported and encouraged them in all they did. Don is survived by his wife, Pat and his children, Mark and his wife Anne of Canandaigua NY, Ellen Wildrick and her husband Russ of The Villages FL, Greg and his wife Marena of Spoleto Italy, his grandchildren Reed Phillips, Russell Wildrick and his wife Samantha, Julianne Wildrick and her husband Rick Salvatore, Alyssa Spear and her husband Wesley and great grandchildren Charlotte Rose Salvatore and Ryder John-Patrick Salvatore. Don is survived by his sister Darlene Unorski and many nieces and nephews.
