Donald D. Mills

Donald D. Mills, 78, of Belvidere, NJ passed away on November 1, 2022 at home with his loving family by his side.

Donald was born on April 11, 1944 in Altoona, Pennsylvania to the late Thomas and Betty Mills.

He was a graduate of Tyrone High School in Tyrone, Pennsylvania Class of 1962. Donald married the love of his life on October 17, 1964 and just celebrated 58 years of marriage. Donald was employed as a systems analyst for Union Carbide in Bound Brook, NJ prior to his retirement in 1991. Donald loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed gardening and loved to mow his lawn always keeping it pristine. He was a huge Penn State fan. Above all, he loved his family and the times spent together meant everything to him. He will be sadly missed.

Donald is survived by his devoted wife, Catherine Mills, his loving daughters, Tracy Mills and her companion Chris Nemeth and Jennifer Howey and her husband Michael, his sister Diana Weaver and her husband Dan Barndt and 6 cherished grandchildren. Samantha (Ryan) Jessica (Keith) Victoria, Olivia, Ethan and Alexandra. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Patricia Buchanan.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 1-3 PM at the Faith Discovery Church, 33 Brass Castle Road, Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 3:00 PM in the church. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Donald’s name to the Faith Discovery Church, 33 Brass Castle Road, Washington, NJ 07882 OR to Warren Hills Memorial Home to offset funeral costs.
