Diane L Schwabe

Diane L. Schwabe, 74, of Washington, NJ, passed away on August 1, 2025 with her loving daughter by her side, at Hackettstown Medical Center.

Born on December 1, 1950, in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Marilyn Daetz (née Wilhelms). Diane was a graduate of Roxbury High School and later earned her degree from Valparaiso University in Indiana.

She dedicated many years of her life working as a social worker throughout the state of New Jersey, where she touched countless lives with her compassion and commitment to helping others.

Diane is survived by her loving daughter, Barbara Miller, and her cherished grandchildren: Mikaelah, Chelsea, and Cameron. She is also survived by her brother, Kurt Daetz.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas Schwabe, who passed away in 2010; her brother, Jeffrey Daetz; and her son-in-law, George Miller III.

Diane found joy in watching game shows and treasured spending time with her family, especially on road trip vacations.
