Deborah A Deremer

Deborah A. DeRemer, 66, of Washington, NJ passed away peacefully on December 13, 2022 at the Lopatcong Care Center.

Deborah was born on July 28, 1956 in Phillipsburg, NJ to the late Leon Hackett Sr. and Shirley "Vosseller" Hackett. She was preceded in death by her husband Dale DeRemer and her nephew Leon Hackett the III. She attended Warren Hills High School class of 1974. Deborah was employed at Berry Plastics for more than 13 years before her retirement in 2020. She enjoyed walking in the woods, reading, gardening, watching old classic movies and listening to music on YouTube.

Deborah is survived by her daughter, Kari Rempkowski and her husband Walter; her mother, Shirley Hackett; brothers, Leon Hackett Jr., his children Aaron and Michelle, James Hackett and Jeffrey Hackett and his wife Mary Ellen; their son Mason; Aunt Ginny Wagner and cousin Allen.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday December 21, 2022 from 11 AM - 12PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. A funeral service celebrating Deborah's life will begin on Wednesday at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment at Hampton Cemetery will be private.
