Craig Slack

Craig Slack, 85, of Asbury, NJ, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, at Complete Care at Brakeley Park in Lopatcong, NJ.

Born on March 13, 1940, Craig dedicated many years of his life to education, working as a teacher at Basking Ridge High School. He was known for his dedication to his students and his commitment to helping young people learn and grow.

In his younger years, Craig greatly enjoyed spending time at his children’s sporting events, proudly cheering them on from the sidelines. He cherished time with his family and especially loved relaxing and spending time with his beloved dog.

Craig is survived by his children: Kelley Smallberger and her husband Ray; Terrence Slack and his wife Leigh-Anne; Travis Slack and his wife Cristina; and Cody Slack. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Leila and Aaron (children of Terrence) and Reagan (daughter of Travis), who brought him great joy.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choosing in Craig’s memory.

All services will be private and are under the direction of Warren Hills Memorial Home.
