Corinne Pursell

Corinne J. Pursell, 66, formerly of Washington, NJ, left this world while at Brakeley Park Center in Phillipsburg, NJ and went to meet her Savior on December 4, 2018. Corinne was born on April 8, 1952 in Phillipsburg, NJ to the late Clifford and Agnes Pursell. She was a graduate of Warren Hills High School Class of 1970. She went on to further her education at Barrington College graduating in 1974 with a degree in English. She began her career at the Lafayette College library, then moved on to retail, banking and finally to TMP call center in Hackettstown, NJ. Corinne was of the Catholic faith and a parishioner of the Immaculate Conception Church in Annandale, NJ. She was a lifelong resident of the Washington, NJ area only moving away to Florida for a short period before returning. Corinne loved NY City and often took bus trips there. She enjoyed spending time at the family cottage in Foulrift, PA and spending time with her friend's dog, a Pug named Joe. She truly loved that dog. She can be described as a very intelligent woman who was an avid reader. She read all books, from mysteries to math and music. She is survived by many cousins and many friends, she treasured the moments spent with Sherri, Judy and Gergeann who helped her through very difficult times In abiding with Corinne's wishes, services will be held privately. Donations may be made in Corinne's name to a charity of one's choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882.
