Carol L . Hulse, 82, of Mansfield Township, NJ and formerly of Elmont, Long Island, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2026, at Emerald Hill Nursing Home in Oxford, NJ.
Born on May 14, 1944, in Queens, NY, Carol was the daughter of the late Phillip L. Blaising and Anita Blaising (nee Llewellyn). She was a graduate of Sewanhaka High School in Floral Park, NY, and went on to work in title research for Fidelity for many years.

Carol had a wonderful appreciation for the simple pleasures in life and always found something to enjoy. She loved Christmas gatherings especially the cousins ornaments exchange .. She enjoyed singing, reading, and cross-stitch, and she was always happy to sit down for a good game of cards. Carol also loved movies and television series and could easily settle in for a good movie or binge-watch a favorite series on Netflix. Carol was quite the stamp collector..Carol loved watching her Football Games .

Above all, Carol cherished the time she spent with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister whose presence brought warmth and happiness to those around her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Sandee Sbashnig and her husband, Peter; her grandchildren, Nicole Helliwell and her husband, Eric, Samantha Sbashnig, and Mackenzie Sbashnig and her fiancé, James Murphy; and her sister, Adele Cooper and her husband, Steve.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her siblings, Phillip E. Blaising and Dorothy Campbell, and her brother-in-law, Willie Campbell. And ex husband Peter J Hulse .

All services, including inurnment at Pine Lawn Memorial Park and Arboretum in Farmingdale, NY, will be held privately at this time.
