Bonnie Fernandez

Bonnie J. Fernandez, 69, a lifelong resident of Oxford, NJ passed away peacefully on November 7, 2017 at St. Luke's Warren Hospital. Bonnie was born on November 18, 1947 at her family home in Oxford to the late Roland Cortright and Joyce Gary. Bonnie attended Washington High School. She worked as a ward clerk for Warren Haven Nursing Home for more than 30 years. She was a member of the Oxford Colonial United Methodist Church in Oxford, NJ. She enjoyed camping at the shore in Avalon, NJ. Bonnie cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren. Her husband and childhood sweetheart Antonio Fernandez passed away in 2000. Bonnie is survived by her loving daughters, Tina Tichenor and her husband Bob, Wendy Witner and her husband Lee, Dawn McNamara and her fianc� Peter Dewalt ; Brothers Michael Gary and his wife Kim, Mitchell Cortright and his wife Michele and Larry Cortright and his wife Pam; A sister Lisa Wolfe and her husband John. Grandchildren Ashley and her husband Jairison, Lindsay, Ryan, Sabrina and Desiree. A great granddaughter Kinslee. A stepfather James Gary. She was also predeceased by her stepmother Carrie Cortright. Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday November 11, 2017 from 10:00 AM � 12:00 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave, Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral services will be celebrated on Saturday at 12:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Sandy Santangelo officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Oxford.
