Barbara G. Stecker

Barbara G. Stecker, 90, a lifelong resident of Port Murray, NJ Passed away peacefully on December 23, 2020 at Forest Manor Nursing Home. Barbara was born on August 15, 1930 in Metuchen, NJ to the late Esra and Effie Barton. Barbara's loving husband Miller Stecker passed away in 1992. She was a homemaker who enjoyed tending to her flower garden and raising her family. She was a member of the Anderson Methodist Church. Barbara enjoyed sewing and crocheting and was a member of the Anderson Quilters. Barbara made may beautiful quilts and blankets over the years. She would give family members as gifts or donating them to her church for the less fortunate. Barbara's family now treasures these keepsakes in her memory. Barbara is survived by her daughters, Sandra Behre and Barbara Perry; A son, Gary Stecker; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Services will be private and at the convenience of her family.
