Barbara Kovacs

Barbara G. Kovacs of Washington Township passed away peacefully at the age of 76, on Friday, March 1, 2019. She was the daughter of Harry P. & Sally R. Giorlando, who both predeceased her. Mrs. Kovacs is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Michael A. Kovacs of Washington Township, six children, Marc Kovacs & his wife Caroline of Hellertown, PA; Matthew Kovacs, of Morristown, NJ; Mary Kovacs, of Washington, NJ; Michael C. Kovacs & his wife Linda of Flemington, NJ; Miranda Coleman & her husband Thomas of Lorton, VA; Michaela Kovacs of Washington, DC. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Michael Edwin, Zachary, Wyatt, Harrison, Jacob, and Ethan. Also, a sister Gail Hudson & her husband Gregory of Belvidere, NJ; a brother Lance Giorlando of E. Stroudsburg, PA; Another sister, Robin Giorlando of Washington, NJ predeceased her; a Brother-in-law Ronald Kovacs & his wife Mary Lou of Washington. Barbara was a devoted wife and mother and touched many lives. A devout Catholic, she taught CCD classes for many years, and was an avid pro-life advocate. She was a member of St. Theodore R.C. Church, Port Murray, NJ. Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday, March 4, 2019 from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 24 W. Washington. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, following Mass.
