Barbara Eggers

Barbara A. Eggers, 85, of Mansfield Township, NJ passed away peacefully on June 4, 2017 at Hackettstown Medical Center with her loving friends by her side. Barbara was born on September 12, 1931 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Albert and Elizabeth Eggers. Barbara was a graduate of Dickinson High School class of 1949. She went on to further her education by attending Rutgers University, and earning her Associates Degree. She was employed as a Labor Relations Specialist for Sea land Service Inc. for 40 years prior to her retirement in 1995. Barbara enjoyed many interests including reading, gardening and visiting her many friends. She will be remembered as having a sweet tooth and enjoying pasta, bread and meatballs. She was passionate about traveling and enjoyed many trips to the Far East. Particularly Hong Kong, Singapore, and Russia. She is survived by a cousin, John Eggers and her very dear friends, Mary and Jack Shenloogian and family. A grave side service will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Washington Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Hill Road, Washington, NJ 07882 In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Barbara's name to the American Heart Association, 1 Union St. Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691 Arrangements have been entrusted to Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W.
