Anthony W. Turyonas Sr. 90, of Hampton, NJ passed away peacefully on December 29, 2013 Born: on January 18, 1923 in Harrison, NJ to the late Anthony C. and Katherine Turyonas Personal: Tony and his wife Lois lived in Hampton since 1951. He was formally of Flemington, NJ. Tony graduated from Flemington high school class of 1941. Early in his life he worked as a farmer. He was later employed as a Inventory Controller for Lipton Tea in Flemington, NJ for 18 years retiring in 1988. Tony enjoyed watching all sports; he was an avid NY Giants and NY Yankees fan. He also enjoyed watching his son Skip race stock cars at Flemington Raceway. Tony also coached little league baseball in Hampton for many years. Memberships: Tony and his wife were parishioners at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Hampton, NJ Survivors: He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Lois; two sons Anthony Turyonas Jr. and his companion Rosalind Davis and William Turyonas. Services: Friends and family may call on Thursday January 2, 2014 from 4:30 - 7:30 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave, Washington, NJ 07882. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday January 3, 2014 at 12:00 PM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 6 Church St. Hampton, NJ 08827 with Father Michael C Saharic officiating.
