Anthony Michael Mack, of Washington Twp., NJ, passed on to eternal life on August 19, 2025. Born on September 12, 1930, he was the son of Michael and Rose Mack. He graduated from NJIT with a degree in electrical engineering and worked at Foster Wheeler in Livingston, NJ for over 30 years. He is a Korean War Veteran.
He married his "hon" Marie on December 16, 1967, in Jersey City, NJ. They moved to Bridgewater, NJ to raise their family and lived there for 33 years before moving to Washington, NJ. They did everything together and enjoyed traveling across country after retiring.
Tony was known as the handball champion of Bayonne as a teenager, and was also a fantastic pool player. He taught himself to play piano and guitar. He enjoyed learning about computers, playing ping pong with his family, as well as learning about planes and going to air shows. His sense of humor and light heartedness was always admired.
Tony was so proud of his family, and was a gentle, quiet man, who was kind to everyone. There was not a math problem he couldn't solve or anything that he could not fix-either cars or home repairs. He loved Las Vegas, LBI trips, casino days, a good hot dog and ice cream cone, and summer days at amusement parks riding the log flume. He liked lighthouses and had quite a collection. He loved being a grandpa and his "favorite grandson" Anthony was his pride and joy.
Honoring his memory forever are his loving wife, Marie of 57 years, his daughters, Nancy Lilly and husband Chuck Lilly of Oxford, NJ, Rose Mack and husband Eric Mangual of Bridgewater, NJ, his grandson Anthony Lilly and grand pets Milo, Oreo and Henry.
You were our happiest hello and our hardest goodbye. We will love you forever.
