Anna M. Krouse

Anna M. Krouse, 90, of Asbury, NJ passed away on October 29, 2022 at Lopatcong Care Center.

Anna was born on June 4, 1932 in Harrisburg, PA to the late James and Anna Galloway.

She was a graduate of Immaculate Conception High School class of 1950 in Montclair, NJ, before obtaining her nursing degree from St. Joseph's Nursing School in Paterson, NJ. Anna spent the majority of her career working for Little Brook Nursing Home in Califon, NJ before her retirement in 1994. She was a devout Catholic and was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and Outreach Ministry at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Washington, NJ. Anna enjoyed embroidery, quilts, and other sewing projects. She was also an avid sports fan and a dessert enthusiast!

Anna is survived by her three sons; William Krouse, Ronald Krouse and wife Daryl, and Albert Krouse and wife Susan, and her favorite daughter Alice Betts and husband Glenn, daughter in law, Denise Taylor. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, and sisters; Catherine Lewandowski and Cecelia Lisle.

In addition to her parents, Anna is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert, who passed in 2016, son, Thomas Krouse, who passed in 1993 and siblings; Gertrude and James Galloway.

A memorial service celebrating Anna's life will take place on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 5:30 PM at the United Methodist Church of Broadway, 2233 State Route 57 West, Broadway, NJ 08808. Family and friends may pay their respects at the church before the service from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM. A Catholic funeral mass will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Washington, NJ.
