Anna F. Colwell, 95, died Friday, April 27, 2007 , in Care Center of Brakeley Park. Born: January 2, 1912 , in Oxford , a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Sawran. Personal: Her husband, John, died in 1989. Anna was a homemaker and had previously lived in Washington and North Plainfield , N.J. She was also quite the dancer. She enjoyed traveling and was a magnificent cook. Anna was a very companionate person who enjoyed helping others and lived for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memberships: Anna was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Washington , where she was a member of the rosary society.She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters and the Election Board, both in North Plainfield , and the Oxford Lions Club Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors: three daughters, Barbara Carmichael of South Riding, Va. , Gladys C. Jennings of Monroe Twp, N.J. and Jane Yurkovitch and her husband, Richard, of Harmony Twp.; a brother, William Sawran of Gates Head, England; a sister, Marie Laterman of Greensville, Pa.; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday in the church, 200 Carlton Ave. , Washington , with Fr. Blaise Baran officiating. Visitation will be held 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Warren Hills / Ford Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave. , Washington . Burial will be in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery , Oxford Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Brakeley Park Center , Att: Activities Director, 290 Red School Ln. , Phillipsburg , NJ 08865 .
