Ann "Gale" Paporello

Ann Gale Paporello, 74, of Stewartsville passed away on October 14, 2018 at St. Luke's Warren Hospital. Gale was born on September 23, 1944 in Bayonne, NJ to the late Thomas and Ann McCarthy. She graduated from Bayonne high School class of 1962, earned her Bachelor's degree from New Jersey City University and her Master's degree in Education from Kean University. After marrying her husband Dennis in 1967, they settled in Roselle Park, and subsequently moved to Martinsville and most recently in 2001, to Stewartsville. She was a 6th grade school teacher for the Elizabeth public school system for more than 25 years until her retirement in 2002. Gale enjoyed cooking, baking and shopping. She also enjoyed the beach at the Jersey shore and traveling, particularly to the Caribbean. She cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years Dennis. Sons, Gregg Paporello and his wife Yari, Todd Paporello and his wife Brittany. A daughter, Kerry Faust and her husband Robert. Grandchildren, Robert Faust Jr., Hollyn Paporello and Maddox Paporello. Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday October 17, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral services will be celebrated on Thursday October 18, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Greenwich Cemetery.
