Anita L. Chaballa, 54, of Oxford, NJ passed away suddenly at home on January 6, 2017. Anita was born on April 2, 1962 in Raritan Township, NJ to the late Walter and Zena Pask. Anita graduated from Prescott High School in Flemington, NJ Class of 1980. After high school she was employed at AT&T for several years. She then worked as a dispatcher for Able and also Taylor Oil Company. She most recently was employed as a home healthcare provider with Abilities in Washington, NJ. Anita met and married the love of her life Tom in 1993. She enjoyed puzzles, especially when they were completed as a family. She loved to cook and bake tea cookies. She was a fan of the Pretenders, her favorite song being Brass in Pocket. She was of the Catholic faith. Anita loved animals, especially her pets, Rusty, Tiger and Boots. She was a caring person who enjoyed helping others. Above all, she loved her family. She will be sadly missed. She is survived by her devoted husband of 23 years, Tom Chaballa, her loving son, Thomas Chaballa. Caring siblings, 2 sisters, Cheryl Coulombe and Linda Martino, 2 brothers, Vlad Pask and Jon Pask and 6 nieces and nephews, Robert, Zena, James, David, Vlad and Brianne. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Zena Pask Friends and family may pay their respects on Monday, January 9, 2017 from 3-7 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral services will be celebrated immediately following the visitation at 7:00 PM at the funeral home In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Anita's name to Common Sense for Animals, PO Box 589, Broadway, NJ 08808.
