Ana Brante

Ana L. Brante, 85, of Washington, NJ, died on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 in Hackettstown Hospital. Born: On July 20, 1922 in Valparaiso, Chile, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Mercedes Brante. Personal: Ana had previously resided in Chile and Hackettstown before moving to Washington, NJ. She was educated in Chile. Ana was a homemaker. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, mother-in-law, aunt and friend. She will be forever missed. Memberships: Ana was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Washington, NJ. Survivors: She is survived by a daughter, Ana Mendez of Washington, NJ; a son, Jose Bilbao of Budd Lake, NJ; a sister, Elena Brante of Chile, and two grandchildren, Jose and Carolina. Services: Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Warren Hills/Ford Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. in the church, 200 Carlton Avenue, Washington, NJ, with Father Marko Oviedo-Nunez officiating. Cremation will be private.
