Alvera Pettinari

Alvera Mary Pettinari, 90, of Washington, NJ formerly of New Village, NJ passed away peacefully at Lehigh Valley hospital in Bethlehem, PA on December 18, 2018. Alvera was born on September 2, 1928 in New Village, NJ to the late Alfred and Anna Bevilacqua. She graduated from Washington high school class of 1946. She was employed as a hairdresser for Orrs and Finesse in Easton, PA for many years. Alvera's loving husband Sylvester Pettinari passed away in 1994. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and going to the Sands Casino. Alvera cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, John Pettinari and his wife Diane of Lower Milford Twp, PA and Robert Pettinari and his wife Debbie of Bethlehem, PA: Sisters, Josephine Amey and Mary Guidi: 2 grandchildren Christin Pettinari and Eric Pettinari. In addition to her husband, Alvera was preceded in death by her sisters, Rena Prezioci, Fermina Rossini, Erma Chiu and Eva Butler. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Sts. Philip and James Cemetery in Greenwich Twp, NJ and is also private. It is Alvera's wishes that donation be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
