Alice S. Bingert

Alice S. Bingert, 92, of Washington, NJ passed away peacefully on March 25, 2020 at Chelsea at Brookfield. Alice was born on October 19, 1927 in Powerville, NJ (Boonton, NJ) to the late William and Myra Sutton. Alice graduated from Bernardsville High School class of 1945. She was employed as the Washington Librarian and she also worked at the Lyons VA Hospital in Basking Ridge, NJ. Alice moved to Washington in 1957 from Millington, NJ. Her beloved husband, Frank Bingert, passed away in 2006. Alice was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She enjoyed volunteering her time especially at the Lopatcong Care Center. Alice was also an avid reader. Alice is survived by her nieces and nephew: Diane Shultz and her husband Thomas, William Sutton and his wife Patricia, Rev. Janice Lynn and her husband Robert and Edythe Elliot. Alice will be laid to rest privately next to her husband Frank at Somerset Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Alice's name to one of her favorite charities Alzheimer's New Jersey, Greater New Jersey Chapter; Habitat For Humanity in Washington, NJ; or The Warren County War Memorial.
