Obituary of Adolph G Andreasen

Adolph G. Andreasen, 91, of Washington, NJ passed away on June 20, 2015 at Hunterdon Medical Center with staff present. Adolph was born on May 14, 1924 in Plainfield, NJ to the late Oscar and Mary Andreasen. Formerly of Plainfield, NJ Adolph was a carpenter by trade. He built his home in Warren, NJ and lived there for many years with his wife, Eleanore, until he retired from the VA Supply Depot in Somerville and moved to Bayville, NJ. After Eleanore passed, he moved to Washington in 2006. He graduated from Plainfield high school class of 1943. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed reading, camping, playing cards, bingo and going to the casino with his family. Adolph is survived by a daughter Maureen Kiley and her husband James; sons Robert T. Jensen and his wife Colleen and Richard Jensen and his wife Catherine; a sister Beatrice Inkpen, 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Eleanore in 2003, Brothers Thomas, Oscar and Carl Andreasen and sisters Katherine, Pauline and Evelyn. A memorial service will be held 10:00 am August 15, 2015 at St. Luke's Lutheran church, 214 St Hwy Route 31 North, Washington NJ 07882. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882.
