Obituary of Audrey Elaine Schramm

Audrey Elaine Schramm, 84, of Franklin Township passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side. She was born in Morristown, NJ on December 8, 1930 to the late Richard & Gladys Parkhurst. Audrey graduated from Endicott College in Massachusetts. She met and married the love of her life Russell Edward Schramm and raised their family in Bernardsville, NJ prior to moving to Franklin Township. Audrey was employed as a secretary for Rutgers University where she retired from in 1995. Audrey was member of the First Presbyterian Church of Washington. She was a member of the Daughters of American Revolution for over 30 years. And a past member of the Bernardsville Garden Club. Her hobbies included needlepoint, cooking and baking. She was also an avid reader. Above all, she loved her family and cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild. She will be sadly missed. In addition to her devoted husband of 56 years Russell, she is survived by her caring daughters, A. Robin Komosinski and her husband Richard and Tempe L. Schramm. A son, W. Drew Schramm and his wife Kathy. 3 grandchildren, Carolyn, Sarah and Gregory. And a great-grandson, Jackson. And her faithful canine companion Duchess. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Richard Parkhurst. A Memorial service celebrating Audrey's life will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at 1:30 PM in the First Presbyterian Church of Washington, 40 Church St., Washington, NJ 07882 Donations may be made in Audrey's name to the First Presbyterian Church, 40 Church St. Washington, NJ 07882.
