Obituary of Michael A Giuliano

Michael A. Giuliano "Mike" 87, of East Stroudsburg, PA passed away peacefully on April 18, 2015 at the VNA Hospice of Monroe County, PA. Born on January 26, 1928 in Montclair, NJ to the late Anthony and Julia "Maffei" Giuliano. Formerly of Bloomfield, NJ he moved to Washington, NJ in 1957. Michael married his soulmate Claire "Devey" Giuliano in 1949. He was employed by M&M-Mars in Hackettstown, NJ for 39 years, starting at the Newark, NJ plant in 1951. He was a Blue Seal steam and refrigeration technician before retiring in 1991. He was a former member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Washington and a current parishioner of Christ Episcopal Church of Stroudsburg, PA. Michael was a member of the Masonic F&AM Lodge #40 in Bloomfield, NJ from 1957, which merged with the Essex Lodge #7 and the F&AM in West Caldwell, NJ. He received his 50 year membership pin in 2007. He was captain of the M&M bowling league and a member of the M&M Retirees club. Survivors: His loving wife of 65 years Claire; Daughters Gayle Bruhn and her husband Karl of Chagrin Falls, OH, Michele Schultheis of East Stroudsburg, PA. A son Robert Giuliano and his wife Linda of Belvidere, NJ. A sister Rose Marie O'Hara of NJ. Three grandchildren- Michael and his wife Terran of Abingdon, MD, twins Allison Schultheis of East Stroudsburg, PA and Kimberly Arantes and her husband Marcus of Portland, PA. He was also a grandfather to Shannon Murphy of Hackettstown and Shawn and Katie Paterson of Great Meadows, NJ. A Great Grandson Benjamin Schwind of East Stroudsburg, PA. Mike was preceded in death by his son Michael. Services: Friends and family may pay their respects on Wednesday April 22, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington, Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral services will be celebrated on Thursday April 23, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Rev. J. Douglas Moyer officiating. Burial will be at Hillside cemetery in Oxford, NJ. Donations may be made in Michael's name to Christ Episcopal Church, 205 Seventh St. Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
