Obituary of Rene Rosario

Rene Rosario 84, of Washington, NJ passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on January 12, 2015 Rene was born on September 11, 1930 in Jayuya Puerto Rico to the late Santos and Maria Rosario. Rene moved to Washington in 1950. He worked at Morgan's Greenhouse in Great Meadows and Picatinny Arsenal where he started as an ammunition blocker then retired as an electrician in 1993. Rene was of the Catholic faith and was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He enjoyed deep sea fishing, gardening, cooking and especially loved dancing. He is survived by his loving daughters Oneida Copin and her husband Barry and Jacquelyn Rosario. Three sisters, Ana Malaret, Miguelina Rosario and Juanita Sotos. Three brothers, Gonzalo Rosario, Trinidad Rosario and Roberto Rosario. He is preceded in death by his devoted wife Nereida who passed in 1990. A brother Samuel Rosario also passed earlier. Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday, January 16, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave, Washington, NJ 07882. 908-689-0119. a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
