Kenneth R. Woods, 68, of Washington Township, NJ, and previously of Frenchtown, passed away peacefully at Hackettstown Hospital on Sunday, May 15, 2011 .
Born: May 5, 1943 in High Bridge, he was a son of Margaret Woods and the late Kenneth Woods.
Personal: Ken was employed for 20 years by the Department of Corrections, Annandale NJ. Ken enjoyed fishing, bull riding, country music, dancing, and the company of his dogs.
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife of 18 years Ruth Woods; a son Kenneth Woods of TX, a daughter Stacey Woods of TX, his mother Margaret Woods of High Bridge, two step-daughters: Ruth Deleon and Kimberly Fritschy, both of New York City; a brother Richard Woods of Phillipsburg; a cousin Robert Farley; and two grandchildren: Sarah and Wyatt.
He was predeceased by his father, Kenneth.
Services: Family and friends may call 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ 07882. A Memorial Service will follow at 12:30 p.m. in the Memorial Home with Pastor Jerald Scott officiating.
