-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------To the family of Norma Shoremount
Dear Randi and Bob and families,
When we learned of Norma's death, it brought back many wonderful memories of both your Dad and your Mother. They were consumate workers in the Lord's vineyard. Although we have seldom been in contact with your parents since their move from South Plainfield, and since your Dad's death, they were not forgotten.
We are particularly remembering today your Mother's excellent
teachings in the adult Sunday School class at St. Stephens. We still
have the notes we took ! Jean has remembered clearly going on a weekend retreat with Norma. On the way home, Norma told her convincingly that she (Norma) felt she was going to live until the End times came and Christ would appear. It may seem that that did not happen. But we feel that when the end came for Norma's time on this earth, she immediately stood before the Lord and heard the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant. Separation from a loved one is always difficult and you have our sympathy in your sorrow. May you feel the presence of God as he hold you tightly in His arms of love.
The Lord be with you. Pastor Charles and Jean Mingle
