Nicholas F. Scodari, 76, of Washington Township, died Wednesday,
May 5, 2004, in Warren Hospital.
Born: June 22, 1927, in Brooklyn, N.Y., a son of the late Joseph
Scodari and Angelina Genoino.
Personal: He and his wife, the former Grace Campione, were married
53 years. Nicholas served in the Navy during World War II. He
graduated from Long Island University with a bachelor's degree
in Science. He was a chemist and owned and operated Crown Royal
L.T.D. in Phillipsburg. He had lived in Washington Township
for the past 15 years, coming from Bridgewater, N.J. Nicholas
loved spending time with his family.
Memberships: He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in
Washington.
Survivors: his loving wife; three daughters, Nina Elizabeth
Crivello of Lopatcong, Sister Monica Marie of Cresson, Pa. and
Marie Scodari of South Branch, N.J.; three sons, Joseph of Bridgewater,
N.J., Nicholas of Raritan and Michael of Morganville, N.J.;
and nine grandchildren.
Services: A Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the church,
200 W. Washington Avenue, Washington, with the Rev. Robert Ascolese
officiating. Call 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to time of service
Saturday in Warren Hills / Ford Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington
Avenue, Washington. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Online
