Theodore C. Schaumberg, 50, of Washington, NJ, died Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at Overlook Hospital, Summit, NJ.
Born: On January 16, 1956 in Erie, Pa, he was a son of Conrad Schaumberg of Belvidere, and the late Jean Andrews Schaumberg, who died in 2000.
Personal: He and his wife, Lorri, were married for 13 years.
He lived in Washington, NJ for the past 14 years, moving there from Chatham, NJ. Ted was an Industrial Arts teacher at Long Valley Elementary School. He also worked for Taylor Rental in Washington. He earned his BS in Industrial Arts at Montclair State College. Ted also had a degree in Mechanical Technology from Morris County College.
He loved model trains and woodworking.
Memberships: Ted and his wife were members of the United Methodist Church of Washington. He was also a member of the Military Vehicle Preservation Association.
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Lorri, and his father, Conrad, he is survived by a daughter, Erica, at home; two brothers, Steven A. of Mountainside, and James of Berkeley Heights; a sister, June Morrison of Shinglehouse, Pa; and 13 nieces and nephews.
Services: Visitation will be on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Warren Hills/Ford Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ. Funeral services will be held Monday at 4 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Doug Spencer officiating. Cremation will be private.
