Condolence: Our deepest sympathy goes out to the family. My fondest of memories was when we sang together with the church choir and First Praise worship team. Shirley always was there for others by visiting and lending a helping hand where she could.

Condolence: Shirley was a patient of ours for a great many years. There are few people who can go through the number of surgeries Shirley went through and keep her upbeat attitude and optimism intact! I enjoyed talking to Shirley whenever she visited with us and she will be sadly missed. Her valiant fight is over and she is in pain no more. That makes me smile!

Condolence: Sorry to hear of your loss. We wondered why Shirley was not joining us for breakfast. She always enjoyed helping with the reunions. We did not know she was ill or so close. We could have visited her. WHS Class of '55

Condolence: I learned about Shirley's passing from a mutual friend. I met Shirley when I was her Reach to Recovery volunteer. She was always very friendly and enjoyed being with people. I have since moved from NJ since 2004. This past year I wondered how Shirley was doing since I have not spoken to her since about 2003. I am sorry that she is no longer with us but also glad that she is no longer suffering.
